Top 10 Things Not to Do On the Internet When Drunk

Coming home drunk and then go online can bring you lots of fun, but also lots of problems second day.

This is our top 10 list of things you should avoid doing on Internet if you are drunk.

1. Respond to anything work-related

No matter how capable you think you are, just don’t do it. Any mistake will be instantly explained by the 4am reply time. Besides, alcohol breeds carelessness, and ending an email to an attractive co-worker with a pun on how she’s good at “every job there is” with a winky-face is definitely not a good idea. Top 10 Anti-Gay Activists Caught Being Gay

Here’s a list of 10 conservative anti-gay activists who turned out to be gay themselves.

1. Troy King

This top entry, Alabama Attorney General Troy King, plays itself out in beautiful symmetry.

Known for his vocal opposition to gay rights and for his attempt to outlaw sex toys, King was caught by his wife while having sex with a local homecoming King (see what we did there?) from–wait for it–Troy University.

Someone get the mascot over here and have it do a little dance.

Ghana – The E-Waste Computer Dump For The World

Have you ever wondered where old computers end up?

The suburb of Agbogbloshie in Ghana’s capital, Accra, has in recent years bacome a dumping ground for computers and electronic waste from Europe and the US. Hundreds of tons of e-waste end up here every month as countries in the West attempt to unload their ever increasing stockpiles of toxic junk. Of the 20 to 50 million tons of electronics discarded each year 70% will end up in poor nations, and in the EU alone 6.6 million tins of e-waste are unaccounted for every year.

Increasingly this e-waste is finding it’s way to West Africa and countries like Ghana, Nigeria and Ivory Coast. Traders bypass international laws by labeling the equipment as second-hand goods or charity donations, but, in reality as much as 80% of the computers sent to Ghana are broken or obsolete. Their final resting place is Agbogbloshie dump where they are broken apart, mostly by children, to salvage the copper, hard drives and other components that can be sold on.

The disposal of electronic goods in the West is a costly affair and must be done in an environmentally responsible manner, however in places like Ghana there are no such regulations ans as such toxic metals like lead beryllium, causing untold damage human health and the environment.

The Most Stupid Products of the Decade

THE MOST STUPID AND BIZARRE PRODUCTS OF THE DECADE

The 2000s were a decade of great innovation. These products weren’t part of it. Remembering Crocs, the Segway, and other comical wares that will keep us laughing for years to come. We listed products randomly from 1 to 15.

1. Windows Vista
It’s never good to have the phrase “New Coke” thrown around after a product launches, but that was the label that stuck to Windows Vista. Five years in the making, Vista consumers complained about speed, bugs, hardware incompatibility, even a poor selection of built-in games. Microsoft claims sales were fine and Vista lived up to expectations, but they sure got Windows 7 out quickly. As the kids say, FAIL. Some good did come out of the debacle, though. Vista provided more fodder for John Hodgman as the delightful “PC” in the long-running Mac ads that poke fun of Vista.

Dangerous Roads

Take a look at two world’s most dangerous roads.  Bolivia’s Road of Death and Guoliang tunnel Road in Taihang Mountains (China).

Bolivia’s Road of Death

The North Yungas Road is a 38 to 43 mile road (depending on source) leading from La Paz to Coroico, in the Yungas region of Bolivia and is undoubtedly the most dangerous road in the world for motorists.
It is legendary for its extreme danger and in 1995 the Inter-American Development Bank christened it as the “world’s most dangerous road”. One estimate is that a fatal accident happens there every couple of weeks and 200-300 travellers are killed yearly along the road
The road moreover includes Christian crosses marking many of the spots where such vehicles have fallen. Upon leaving La Paz, the road first ascends up to around 5km, before descending to 1079 ft (330 m), transitioning quickly from cool altiplano terrain to rain forest as it winds through very steep hillsides and atop cliffs.
The road was built in the 1930s during the Chaco War by Paraguayan prisoners. Because of the extreme dropoffs, single-lane width, and lack of guardrails, the road is extremely dangerous. Further still, rain and fog can make visibility precarious, the road surface muddy, and loosen rocks from the hillsides above.

The Hanging Coffins of Sagada

Sagada couldn’t get more mystifying without the elements of the mummies. When you go to Sagada caves in Philippines there are hanging coffins to be found on the cliffs made of limestone.

About six hours by bus (twice this amount of time in the wet season) from the Luzon island town of Banaue, north of Manila, the people of Sagada have devised a unique burial ritual involving the placement of dead relatives into caves after carefully preparing a hollowed out log.

These coffins are carved by the elderly before they die; if they are too ill or weak their son or other close relative will do it for them. This ritual involves pushing the bodies into the tight spaces of the coffins, and often bones are cracked and broken as the process is completed.
After the deceased are put inside these coffins they are then brought to caves high in the cliffs where they join the coffins of other ancestors. The Segada people prefer to be buried in the cliffs than to be buried in the ground and have been doing this for more than 2,000 years.

In some caves hundreds of coffins are lined up, and unfortunately tourists are unregulated in this area, some have even taken some of the bones as souvenirs. If you do visit these caves, make sure you get a guide as some of the caves are hard to find and the roads can be tricky to navigate.

Dangers: In addition to the obvious dangers of confrontations with criminals, police officers and detectives must always be alert and prepared to deal with a variety of other threatening situations. 10 Genius Signs On The Simpsons

simpsons wide
This is not a comprehensive list of the best signs ever seen on “The Simpsons”.
Because I don’t think that it would be possible to put together the 10 greatest signs on “The Simpsons”. Every single episode features at least three or four signs and, without fail, they’re clever. Business names, business slogans, messages on the church sign… for 20 years now, the writers have almost never missed.
So what I set out to do was put together a list of 10 signs featured on “The Simpsons” that I find to be exceptionally brilliant. And I know I left out some great ones. I had to. So with apologizes to Stoner’s Pot Palace, Flowers By Irene, no outside Eucharist and so many more, here are 10 ingenious signs on “The Simpsons”…
